Blending Scrum and Kanban to Create an End-to-End Agile Enterprise
Here is a quick 10 minute video presentation of how I blend concepts like Epics, Features, User Stories, Story Maps, Minimally Marketable Features, Scrum, Kanban, RUP, and even traditional SDLC to create a scaleable agile enterprise portfolio framework. Pretty simple illustration, but it covers all the fundamental ideas necessary to make this work.
This talk will form the core of my Agile 2011 submission by the same name.

Exactly. Executive support is crucial to the success of Agile initiatives. Putting the snowmageddon to use at home!

Right! This looks like a practical way to scale kanban and scrum in a large (product development) organization where scrum is not the single option. We implement Kanban in IT organizations where something like the V model, PRINCE 2 or RUP are established at an higher level and we are adding a Kanban pull system in it. You explained well how to do it in an non-disruptive way. May work for us. Thanks.

Hands down the BEST webinar on this topic that I have seen yet. Thank you for sharing great details, concepts and implementation tips, Mike for an enterprise agile transformation. These 11 mins could be overwhelming for some people, but please understand Mike is giving end-to-end implementation in a very concise format. He knows his stuff – he’s helped these successful transitions, that’s why you can see such a smooth-non-stop-one-breather presentation. Kudos & Thanks again for sharing!
